Bio
I am a qualified artist and teacher, living and working in the Hertfordshire Essex area. I Attended the University of Hertfordshire, where I gained a degree in Fine art, then I attended Middlesex University, where I gained a PGCE (Post graduate certificate of education) in Art. I am also quallified to teach trinity college Arts awards to silver level. I have worked as a secondary school teacher for around 10 years, the last 6 of these, I was employed as the head of art in a Hertfordshire school. In April 2014, I left main stream teaching to work privately as an art teacher and continue with my own art practice. I have also become involved in work in Tanzania where I have recently worked for six months, teaching art and opening an art centre.
I have had a studio at Parndon mill in Harlow Essex for around 10 years, as well as a working space for me, it is also used to run my private art classes.
